Actually that's what I noticed, I posted some questions about my ebay sell and somehow that led people to my auction.

It sure does, that's why I have a paid banner ad here on Amiga.org. My banner ads get a very healthy click-through and it certainly increases traffic to my auctions.

Amiga.org banner ads are the cheapest most cost effective advertising on the internet! Why anyone selling product in this market wouldn't advertise here is beyond me! :-o

I also recommend adding things like "WOW!" "RARE!!!" "L@@K" (or even combinations) to the auction title as this makes it stand out.
