Hi... just wondering, it was a pretty good source for information and it's not been updated since May!

I don't remember reading it was going to close or such.

regards

Here too but last news story is 12th May - either nothing interesting has happened in the three and a half months since (possible...) or the site is dead?

Hmm, doh! :-)

Guess I'll read the body of the post next time :)

If I were to guess, the site's maintainers either had something happen in their personal life which kept them busy, or they have found something better to do.

Yes it works but it has not been updated for a while. He might be at college or something and have no time to update, it im sure i remember him saying something like that a while ago .? :-)

Someone on IRC told me (hi reflect :-)) that Exie is taking a break ... but that at some point he would start working on it again ... Don't ask me when, cause i don't know ...

I hope he comes back soon. It was my favourite news site... and I really like the look of the site :)

maybe the admin died?? :-( Nah i doubt so though...

But you never know though

Sure is kinda odd, you usually see some info being posted if the site is shut down.

For a first-person point of view thing, running an Amiga-related Web site is the single most frustrating thing that I have ever done. Those who like your work never say so, those who don't like your work harrass you to no end.

I have no problems believing that the administrator of that site just got fed up and went on walkabout until the situation improved. Hell, running Amiga.org I got fed up about once every two months and even the current admins are having to learn to deal with trying to support a community that is genuinely ungrateful and intensely critical of everything.

wayne:well as you know by now , we wont spam you with "WE LOVE THIS SITE" everyday or really...never , as you allready stated it so many times that you got to much mails/pm's :)

hmm maybe i should pm kees and let him know ?

maybe i should be quiet ?

maybe i should bug him about fixing the site instead ?

just an example :)

anyway make a entry on the site , so people who like it can click every now and then , and one for people who dont... would be a nice feature :)

HIT the box if you like , hit box number 2 if you dont ... would save alot of unessesary emails/pm's :)

anyway about czech , well i knew this about 3 months ago , we have discussed it in other threads and was given the same answer, oh well more time for aorg.org then :)
