I've had a CyberStorm PPC running in my A3000 for about a year now. When I bought it second hand the spacers weren't included. Right now the only thing holding it in place is the CPU slot. If I give my desk a good whack the whole thing goes into a reboot loop with a yellow screen, requiring a cold boot to recover.

Searching these forums I can't seem to come to a definitive answer as to where I might acquire comparable spacers. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Search again - some guys have made their own spacers and they tell from where to buy and how to make.

Good luck.

The local Lowes hardware store has a nylon fastener section. The spacers were 25.4mm long originally and I cut them down to exactly 17.5mm as measured with a mic.

The screw heads had to be shaved flat on one side to clear components on the board.

I also made my own. From an electronics components store I bought nylon machine screws and plastic bushings that I cut to length. They work perfectly.

Not sure if I have a weird mother board or what but the spacers for both my Cyberstorm and Mediator don't line up with anything on my 3000T
