Hello world! :-)
I have got the urge to put my old A1200 om my
desk again. Just to play some old game and..
BUT, I also like to access my home LAN.
I have loads of old PCMCIA cards lying around.
Is it possible to use them with my Amiga or do
I have to buy a specially made AmigaPCMCIA-card?
Many thanks to all out there who still contribute to
the Amigacommunity!!

Get cnet.device from Aminet and check if you have one of the listed cards. Then get Miami or AmiTCP or Genesis and configure the TCP/IP network. Get Samba to let PCs access your Amiga's drives, get SMB-Handler or SMB-Connect or smbfs to access your PC's drives from the Amiga. Samba needs lots of CPU power, without a 68060 you should not try it.

I use Samba on 040/25 and get good transfers. The main CPU leech is the PCMCIA card itself. The second biggest CPU leech is Miami.
