In 24 hours 255 (*) different people logged in and said hello. We had many regulars as well as long time users who's first post was to say hello in that thread. I genuinely enjoyed seeing how many people came out of the shadows.
You know I hated to close it after only 24 hours because it was still going strong to the very end! Now consider how many didn't bother to log in or post? i saw many logged in who didn't post. Thank you everyone for particpated:-)
* It was 254 at time of closing, but i promised to add that "I refuse to comply!" guy :-P

You know, that must have been THE most exciting thing in my entire life, bar none. You could just cut the excitement with a stoat. I was teetering on the brink of the edge of the seat of my pants. I could have just exploded. But I didn't. Which was lucky, because if I had, i'd have made a big mess, like mr. creosote.

Hey Red, I don't know if you're a homestar runner fan (or at least a Strongbad fan, like me ;-) ), but for some reason your avatar makes me think of this:

Maybe you should stick that on a few random items before selling them? ;-)

Very interesting. Also got to look at who sides with which OS. BTW, what's that AmigaOS4 image I forgot which user posted and labeled underneath "HOAX!"?

Why have you decided to keep it up for only one day? I have been the last one to post, and I believe more people were willing to post.
Also, something strange happened after posting, the post was showing up but without the text I entered, so I had to edit it, don't know if it was my browser's fault (Netscape 4) or it happened because you were closing the thread at the same time.
BTW I'd like to see again a poll like this, this time for people that are using amiga browsers.. or even for those who are using a classic Amiga.

What would probably bring a more truthful response is a web logs analysis, but it might make depressing reading.

@redrumloa
Sorry, but I do check this site out everyday. I did ready your forum to reply once, but I just never got around it. Maybe there is somehow you can see how many different IPs actually browse around your sites.

Muhaha!
I escaped the counting! ;-)
And don't you DARE include me, I'm using this as a statement against all the "if you <whatever> post here" threads. It's a dirty job but SOMEONE has got to keep some sense around here.
