Heya
I bought an A520 off ebay with cables etc, it looks brand new and was sealed in a bag, however all I can see is the WB 1.3 screen flickering down the screen (as if sync is out), have tried on 2 TV's and 3 A500's, if I use the mono video out on the A500's then the picture is perfect (except being in mono of course)
any ideas?

where are you located? (us/uk/eu?) is the signal out of the A520 in color or B&W? had almost the same problem, turned out it was a PAL A520 adapter.

You could always build your own, like I did.. The video output will be vastly superior to the A520..

Heya
I am in the uk, the picture is in colour just travelling up and down the screen, there is german writing on the back so I assume it is pal, building one sounds fun, tho just want to test these a500's fully before selling them

man, great video!! i'm guessing it's not so easy on an A500 though? :-)

Easier actually, just do it externally just like the A520. The Amiga's video port even gives you a 5V power output (presumably for the A520)
I plan on building a box and making a modernized external A520 out of my other neobitz board.

I thought about same thing when you published great Neobitz video. However, A520 is very spacious and it's a perfect case for cramming additional component output. OK, it would be ugly to drill 2 more holes, but second one could be used as component cable harness.
