It seems so :-( .

I remember someone asking working ftp-mirror for geekgadgets some time ago, and I found the following (located on bact2roots.org/aminet.no):

ftp://ftp.amigascne.org/mirrors/ftp.geekgadgets.org

The files there are not very new, but if remember correctly they weren't updated that much even on the official site during the last few years. They are newer than on Aminet, atleast. Naturally there are exceptions, that are more frequently updated, and those files usually find their way to aminet too.
