Hello ppl.

Where in the I can find an "not so old" project to construct a clockport sound dsp board? :help:

I lost the link. Can anyone help me? :boohoo:

Finally I got a dead Motorola cell phone (an old v66i of mine) with that DSP chip in it. :-D

:help:

:pint: :pint: :pint: :pint: :pint: :pint: :pint: :pint:

VSS/ VF SoundSystem (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/search.pl?product=VF+Sounds+System) ?

I think the software download there is the full archive you're looking for

Edit:
Looks like his site has gone walkies, but luckily archive.org has a working copy of his download page (http://web.archive.org/web/20050213053318/ludens.elte.hu/~vf/dloadfra.html), dunno if the latest version on there is newer than the one on amiga.resource.cx

Nope, is not VFSS. Is a project to MAKE a sound board from scratch. Using that Motorola DSP chip found in cell phones (56002 or 56001).

I think the author sell the PCB, tought. :hammer:

But thanks for the help....

Now where's the link to make a graphics card out of an old dead Tamagotchi?!

Heh! How many Tamagotchis would you need for a 640x480 display?! :-)

I'll take a chance.

Do you mean MAS-player for the parallel port? If someone worked up a DIY project for the clock port, I've never seen it.

Unfortunately, not.

IS a clockport 1200 project. Using that Motorola 56xxxx DSP series.

A very wonderfull project. But I lost the web link to it. :boohoo:

I remember the author sells just the PCB and give the schematics for a few bucks...

I dont see the project but I found this.

Appears to use the DSP you are talking about.

Looks like other MP3 project, but seems GREAT! :-D

MAS Player IS another great project, too. But I like to fit the player INSIDE my desktop case.

Thanks to you, people.... :-)

@Doobrey
Wow I'd totally forgotten about that. I've been badgering an electronics friend of mine to do something similar, though simpler without the expansion bus whilst i wrote the MHI library.

He however is busy and I'm still a complete n00b at electronics :-(

Any chance of you doing a Dennis and releasing this design at some point?
