Hello all
I mentioned in a thread a while ago that I was having problems with my A1200, Grex and Blizzard 060/PPC and that if I connected the Blizzard to the Grex accelerator adapter, then my machine would not boot. Well, I've sorted that now. It seems the accelerator adapter was not connected to the Grex.
I can now boot into workbench (as long as I disable setpatch from the startup-sequence) and the CPU is reported as being a 68040 as kind of expected. However when I try to install the libraries for the 060/PPC it says that CyberPCI is not resident. I assumed this was due to the setpatch not being called on startup so I downloaded another setpatch off the net (quick google search), and that one worked okay and the machine booted fine. However the installer for the libraries still told me that CyberPCI was not resident. Any thoughts on this? I have flashed the Blizzard with version 1.3 of the flash update as I've read to do so many times before.
So the libraries are installed but I guess they aren't working properly due to this CyberPCI reason (and the fact it's still reporting it as a 68040).
Has anyone else had this issue?
Cheers
