Blitz Basic 2.1 HD Install Problem

I've recently installed BB 2.1 on my HD as per instructions in the back of the manual, but on running the program I receive the error message 'Library not found : $FFFA'. If I then insert the program disk into the floppy drive (or boot from it into BB in the first place) the error doesn't occur. Does anyone know what's going wrong?

I don't know much about BlitzBasic, but as far as I know, the old BlitzBasic has some Problems with newer Amigas / AmigaOS.
You should use the successor of BlitzBasic.
AmiBlitz is more up to date and is still supported / bugfixed by Bernd Roesch.
