PowerDrome vs WipeOut

So, which one do you find the most entertaining? :-P

PowerDrome got some seriously neat Hover-craft preferences while WipeOut got the great graphics...

But I still burn away with PowerDrome. :-D
(even beginning to design a remake or "sequel" to it in 2D, graphics like the game Overdrive, in BlitzBasic.)

And those that don't know what PowerDrome is, it's a WipeOut game that was released 1988/89 to the A500. Check it out, it's worth buying.

I do prefer old games as they have playablity not graphics whilst some modern games are entertaining such as wipout.

Wipout is a great game due to it's graphics

but PowerDrome has the older graphics wihich promots playabilty more then outright stunning grpahics.

WipeOut may be far prettier, but Powerdrome is FAR more playable, and that's the thing that really matters in a game.
Now, if someone puts their hand up to make a PPC version of powerdrome with all the original feel but more a look more like WipeOut, you've got one customer here already :-)

yup, playable and nice (got that one, or was it WipeOut 3 for the PSX) but a PowerDrome Edition would be soooo cool... :-)

Hmm, hoping that WipeOut is rereleased natively for AOS4 when it's out...
