It should have been finished last year, and the production should have already begun.
No more news than the one on their site, like the shark..

If I were Elbox I would release it before the Powervixxen.
I really hope th SharkPPC will come out when AOS4 is finished (if that ever happends) so we classic users may have use for OS4.

I agree with all of you, got a bone stock A3000 just sitting here waiting for something to happen, then I'll spend the bucks to build it. Till then, my trusty old A2000 will suffice. :-D

I have dreamed of MANY cool things being released. I guess as long as we can all dream, it should be fine. :-)

If someone from A.org contact them and try to do some intreview we will know maybe something ...is it so hard for the crue from this site too?
They have (Elbox) contct in couple months ago on other Amiga site for some interview session, but no one can tell whats happend with that and why that job is not done...
So what A. org will do about this question?

They are jerking your chains, that's what they are doing. I seriously doubt it has to really do much about Amiga OS4 not being out. If that was the case then it will just perpetuate the vicious blame cycle.
AOS4 isn't out because there is no new hardware availible to run it. Well we can't release this hardware because AOS4 isn't out. Please!!!! I'm going to take excuses like that and fertilize a field for this spring with them.
Ahh, ahh, ahh. Nope I'm not going to listen to any weak excuses trying to rational the hardware issue. I would give the Hyperion people slack, but the other people really should know better. No, I'm not listening to any bull, that's just it. So you can save your trouble and wear and tear of your fingers trying to reply back to my thread post. :ranting:
So no one can contact them from this site too?

AOS 4 is yet aivable in an advanced v4 beta, nearly the final stage ...
So, why don't tried to show something real with that ???

One cannot but help think the production costs for AOS4 or compatible hardware does not justify the potential (or lack of) customers available. Taking the potential numbers of all Amiga users, subtract all the non-A1 owners, leaves a fraction of user sales base. Subtract from that small group the 80% who talk but do not put their money where their mouth is. Leaving 20% hard core users who may or may no longer be able to afford the hobby. The number of Amiga users who claim to purchase such compatible hardware/software when available is a slippery slope to factor when considering the upfront investment production capital for an end product. Keep hoping and keep talking but face reality and don't hold your breath.

I have a couple PPC equipped Amigas. While I have no intention of ever buying an A1, I'd gladly buy a couple OS4 disks. There are probably a hell of a lot more people like me than folks willing to buy A1s. Just sell OS4 already! If they keep putting it off, more of us AmigaPPC owners will simply give up on them. From reviews of the latest beta releases, most of us would be more than happy with OS4 as it is now.
If you watch the board, you see people all the time who are buying, or have just bought a PPC accelerator for their A1200/A3000/A4000. They usually also buy OS3.9 since that's the last OS available to the public. Those people would be buying OS4 if it were available. I've seen many more folks buying PPC upgrades and 3.9 than people buying A1s.

I second what JLF said:
I paid quite a bit of $$$ to get a PPC and Mediator system up and running so droping another bit o cash to get the latest OS wouldn't bother me one bit... AND I'M A POOR COLLEGE STUDENT!!!!

Here is one more that is wanting OS4 for his PPC card
It's running perfectly fine as it is. Lots of beta testers have said "unoficialy" that it would work as a pre release.
Wouldn't hesitat to pay up to 150$ for it today. Even if it would only run with 68k gfx drivers.
Dragon is close with price and performanse (Dragon + Sark ppc) with A. one and it is best alternative for Amiga users..
Elbox is prove hardware deliverer till now...
So some kind of interview with them or more news will be in interest for all...
