XAD library for unarc

So I just downloaded the latest XAD package of aminet(10.) and installed it.
Big update from 3.1 to 10. can't tell exactly anymore.
Downloaded the 060 part btw.
Now it is asking for a fee because it is shareware.
My question in here is it worth it?
How about speed,more depackers etc..
Is there also an upgrade possibel for the gui of the unarc tool?
