Hello Amigans,
I've receive a new 3c589 compatible PCMCIA card and am trying to get this baby working!

I have downloaded 3c589.lha from Aminet and unpacked it on my A1200 but when I try to run the Install script, the script doesn't seem to work.

I get something that looks as follows...

Ram Disk:3c589> install
(set: Unknown command
(set failed returncode 10
Ram Disk:3c589>

I'm guessing something is wrong with installer, but I'm not sure what.

Is it possible to do a manual install and if so what would need to be installed where? Can I just copy 3c589.device into Devs:Networks/ and copy pccard.library into Libs?

Thanks,
AmigaEd

Yes, of course. Dont forget to install CardReset and CardPatch from Aminet too.

@DJBase,
Thank you, I have Miami working! :banana:

It's old version 3.0 but it does work.

Now I'm having a problem with Ibrowse, it says that it is...
"Unable to open ibsupport.library"
"Version 9 is exactley needed"

So I guess the Ibrowse install on this A1200 is hosed also! :hammer:
