Hi -

Anybody out there using AWebb software to
access their Yahoo mail? I must have a setting
wrong and can not log in (it says something like
format not supported or something like that).

Any ideas ? Feedback much appreciated : )

Might have something to do with SSL.

Hi
I wouldnt bother with yahoo mail on an amiga anymore as it used to work with ibrowse but now it just looks a mess and you cant compose a mail anymore. But excite mail runs perfect on ibrowse.

I beg to differ, as I use Yahoo w/ IBrowse daily, on both a real machine and a WinUAE machine. You just need to turn off Javascript for #?yahoo.com#? in Preferences URL prefs.

Well thats weird then since i just turned off java in the prefs like you said.Yeah you can write a mail but its pretty pointless since there is no button to click for send...

Greetings ckillerh3,

You can only use 2 browsers at the moment. Voyager3.2(least of all) and Ibrowse2.3(best). Never bother Aweb for the moment(at,least until they build better version). There's a trick, if you try hard enough.

* Visit the wap site (http://wap.oa.yahoo.com), only problem here is that you can't attach pictures, and have to deal with refreshes! Also you can vitually use *all 3 browsers on this site! ;-)
* Or Try this with you IBrowse settings. Log-in at mail.yahoo.com as normally you do. As soon as you're inside...
Right Click for menu->Preference->Select Disable tab. Select inbox link. You'll be transported to an error message where page

You need to have JavaScript enabled in order to use the new design.
Follow the instructions below to enable JavaScript OR

Switch back to the old version

Select the "Switch back.." link. Smooth sailing(almost) from here on. :-D Hope that helps.
