Hi,
I just looking for some ideas for software, icons, images, etc that I could use to dress up my A2000 system with 68030 KS1.3 and a 50Meg SCSI HD.

Thanks,
AmigaEd

There was a thread on this a while back - see here (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=8614) (the programs I uploaded aren't online now, but I can stick them on a server if you really want).

TBH though, the best way to dress up the system would probably be to install KS3.1 ;-)

As everybody says, there's not much you can do to make WB 1.3 really fancy.

Back in 1990 I spent an insane amount of time on picking the best non-flickering colour schemes, making my own 8x8 fonts to replace topaz (using the Fed and FF programs supplied with WB 1.3) making my own icons with IconEd, making pointers with simulated shadows. I even faked backgrounds for individual folders and desktop by making huge icons, then snapshotting other icons on top. (I had lots of time to waste back then)

Anyway, if you're interested, I can send you some of my old prefs, fonts, icons ("backgrounds" have been lost forever) and a nifty little program that puts a copper rainbow in the background. Don't expect too much though.

There is MagicWB1.3.lha on aminet, worked a treat on my A500 with kick/wb 1.3.

There are bunch of utils which create nice copper rainbow... None available at aminet it seems.
