Hi folks,

I had a brainwave of an idea for minimising the amount of data required to store images, the only downside is that it would only work on simple pictures.
Does anyone know how vector images work (on PC/Amiga or whatever) as I don't want to waste my time creating a new format (for my use mainly) if:

1) Its already been done (vector images?)

2) The files work out larger than the IFF version (won't know that until the end of the project!)

3) No 3rd reason... not yet, anyway.

Yep as Piru wrote SVG is great format..

You could visit http://autotrace.sourceforge.net/ too...

Autotrace in Aminet/gfx/conv (http://www.aminet.net/search.php?name=autotrace&q_desc=OR&desc=autotrace&type=advanced) directory (autotrace converter in Amiga and MorphOS version)
