Have any of you ever watched the TV Game Show, Catchphrase??? Well, until 2000 it was presented by a legend by the name of Roy Walker, and it was one of the greatest shows on TV.
In 2000, Nick Weir replaced Walker and the show took on a whole new look. Weir broke his leg in his first episode by falling down the steps as he was making his entrance.
In 2002, former Blue Peter presenter Mark Curry took Weir's place in asking contestants to "say what you see".
Since these 2 idiots replaced Walker, the show has gone downhill faster than a skiier.
I miss Walker's sayings like: "There's mr chips, what's he doing?", "5 seconds, here we go", "it's good but it's not right", "(name), you're back in, here's another catchphrase", and finally, my favourite, which is my signature: "RIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTT!!!".
So what I am trying to say is that Roy Walker is Mr Catchphrase, NOT idiots like Curry and Weir. So then ITV, for the sake of your viewing figures, BRING BACK ROY WALKER! Or else...

He's a Legend, I've heard carpark catchphrase on Radio 1, apparently Mr. Fish used to make a little gobble noise when they said goodbye... they should at least bring that back!

(You got that when I was chatting on #Amiga.org, isn't it?)
Drs. P is brilliant, as well with (archaic) language as well as with certain common assumptions and utter nonsense.

Actually, I did a google search. :-)
I assumed that Drs. P would be the right choice. ;-)

I always remember Roy Walker as being totally biased toward the woman, especially if she was pretty.
<Roy> Now, what's this catchprase?
<Man> Beep! A Stitch on Time Saves Nine!
<Roy> No! It's a Stich IN Time! Next catchprase...
<Woman> Beep! Puke before you creep?
<Roy> Close enough! It's Look Before You Leap. Here, have a point!
And basically, Catchphrase sucked. Really.
