AmigaOS daily usage By You?
Posted by Nov 20, 2017 - 4:09 AM - by AmiDelf

I would like to know if some of you uses AmigaOS as your main operating system?

Do you see it as a hobby usage or daily usage? Do you use Windows or OSX for tools that AmigaOS doesnt have? And would you use AmigaOS way more if it had the same tools as Windows or OSX?

I am using AmigaOS for Web, Social Media and Map tools daily. If I need to use OSX or Windows I use them. However, if AmigaOS had the same tool. I would for sure use AmigaOS for that. I play games and listen to music on my... [Read More]

Airsoft Softwair, the unstoppable coding machine, is back on your screen with a brand new plugin for Hollywood: zip.hwp! This plugin allows Hollywood scripts to conveniently read and write zip archives. It uses Hollywood 6.0's new file and directory adapter plugin interfaces which allow you to iterate through zip archives as if they were normal directories. Files within zip archives can also be accessed as if the zip archive was a normal directory. It just doesn't get any easier! With zip.hwp it is not... [Read More]

SPEEDGRID - new AGA game in the works
Posted by Nov 07, 2017 - 11:35 AM - by saimo
Hi all,

after about 12 years (happily) spent making games for the Commodore 64, AmigaOS 4 and other PC systems, I'm returning to the "classic" Amiga - something I've been itching to do for a long, long time. The game, called SPEEDGRID (working title), is going to be of the casual, score-attack type based on the catching/dodging of hexagonal cells representing various bonuses and... [Read More]
